Reset

Address severe or mixed deposits through testing and a staged treatment program.

  • Blocked emitters
  • Significant pressure imbalance

  • Mixed mineral and biological deposits

A reset program may require mineral treatment and oxidation to be completed as separate steps.

Biological Versus Mineral Buildup

Biological and Organic Fouling

Oxidizing chemistry is generally used when biofilm, algae, slime, or other organic material is the primary concern.

Mineral Deposits

Acid or scale-management chemistry may be more appropriate when carbonate scale, mineral deposits, or fertilizer precipitation is restricting the system.

Mixed Deposits

When both are present, the system may need a staged program rather than stronger chemistry or multiple concentrates added together.
